Colorguard

The color guard is an integral part of the Marching Canes

• Learn to spin and toss a flag
• Learn to spin rifles and sabers
• Learn dances for the field and stands

Everyone who is interested must attend the tryout clinic April 21-24 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. The final tryout will be held on Thursday, April 24 beginning at 5:00 PM

No experience is necessary! You will learn the basics at the clinic to complete the tryout, and then you will continue to learn advanced technique during band camp. 

All members must be able to commit to be at all rehearsals and performances:

• Color Guard Pre-Camp: July 7-11, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Band Camp: July 14-18 and 21-25, 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• After school Monday (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM), Tuesday (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM), and Thursday (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
