AP Honor School

Congratulations to MAHS for being recognized as a 2025 AP Honor School! Every year Georgia's Department of Education reviews high schools' AP participation and exam performance. This year we have received the title through the AP Access and Support School category. This means we had at least 30% of AP exams taken by students who identified themselves as African American and/or Hispanic (minimum of 16 students) AND at least 30% of all AP exams earning scores of a 3 or higher. Check out the press release to learn more about AP Honor Schools: https://gadoe.org/press-releases/superintendent-woods-names-2025-ap-honor-schools/

College Board National Recognition

Help us congratulate these students who have earned academic honors! This program recognizes underrepresented students and their hard work in high school. To qualify for these awards, students must have a GPA of a 3.3+, be in the top 10% among Georgia PSAT test takers, and/or earned a 3+ score on at least 2 AP Exams.
