Walton County School District invites parents and guardians to attend Digital Safety for Families: Helping Children Navigate Online Risks, an informative evening designed to equip families with the knowledge and resources needed to help children navigate today's digital world safely. The event will feature South Carolina Representative Brandon Guffey, a nationally recognized speaker and advocate for online child safety, who will share his family's story and discuss the growing risks facing children online, including social media safety, digital exploitation, and emerging technology. Parents will gain practical strategies for recognizing warning signs, fostering open conversations with their children, and building healthy digital habits at home. Whether your child is just beginning to use technology or is active on multiple digital platforms, this presentation will provide valuable insights to help families stay informed, engaged, and prepared.

This is a friendly reminder that when our students return in August, they’ll need a clear bookbag. The guidelines and FAQs for purchasing clear bookbags are on each school’s website. The Walton County School District will also have bags for distribution to students who need them.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a student support framework proven to improve school climates, increase academic achievement and reduce disciplinary incidents.
College Board National Recognition Recipients
Help us congratulate these students who have earned academic honors! This program recognizes underrepresented students and their hard work in high school. To qualify for these awards, students must have a GPA of a 3.3+, be in the top 10% among Georgia PSAT test takers, and/or earned a 3+ score on at least 2 AP Exams.
